You may recognize this star as our avatar (for the time being). This star is actually taken in front of the Bob Bullock Museum, a must see place whether your visiting or a local. This is the state museum and offers three floors of interactive exhibits as well as an Imax theatre. Perfect place to go especially in the summer to escape the heat at a reasonable price.

Blues on the green.
If you know anything about the city of Austin, you’d know that it is - and will be - inevitable to run into live music. We are the Live Music Capital of the World! Blues on the green offers a FREE concert every other Wednesday of the summer like they have been for 22 years. It’s located at Austins favorite Zilker Park. A place where you can truly experience the broad range of towns people and why they say Keep Austin Weird. Pets are welcome and just about anything goes here. Blues on the green offers many artist like Charlie Mars to Rhett Miller. undoubtably a must see, given the time of year.

Bar Louie.
With its uptown interior and unique martinis, this bar/ restaurant is a safe bet when looking for a night out. Bar Louie offers an outstanding happy hour from four to seven and nightly specials (weekdays only) that attract a lot of local business people after five. Located in the heart of downtown, it isn’t hard to spot the neon martini sign right outside these front doors.
